Creekside Park YMCA
Location: Creekside Forest Drive adjacent to the George Mitchell Nature Preserve
Description: The South Montgomery County YMCA has added its third branch in The Woodlands in the Village of Creekside Park. The new Y offers a15-acre day camp with lodge, Tipi village and tree houses, Alpine Tower with ropes course, outdoor theater with stage and outdoor chapel. The first phase of construction is now completed and summer camp and a full schedule of family activities are underway. 
Timarron Park
Location: Neighborhood of Timarron in Creekside Park
Description: This 7-acre neighborhood park includes a pavilion, plaza, restroom, lighted tennis and basketball courts, picnic area, playfield and pathways. The park is now completed.
Jagged Ridge Park
Location: Neighborhood of Jagged Ridge in Creekside Park
Description: This1 ½-acre neighborhood park is under construction. It will include a pavilion, playground, picnic area and open play area. It is scheduled to open in fall of 2010. |
